Iceberg

Iceberg joined the Platte Valley Roller Vixens Fresh Meat training in 2012. The Vixens taught her everything she knows about roller derby. Thanks to her need for speed, her lack of fear, and her active lifestyle, Iceberg has become a dedicated jammer.

Early in the 2015 season, she earned her first major injury during a bout against the Heartland Hellcats, taking a shoulder to the stomach and breaking two ribs. Since then she managed to break her right hand while downhill mountain biking and her left wrist while snowboarding. Thankfully roller derby is so hardcore that she is allowed to play in a cast, as long as she pads it so it can’t be used as a weapon on the track.

Iceberg is a full-time student at the University of Nebraska, Kearney and serves on the Platte Valley Roller Vixens’ Board of Directors as well as chairing the sponsorship committee.
