Bout Recap: Vixens vs. Bettys (01/26/12)
The Vixens rolled over the Bettys with a hard-hitting 240-176 victory kicking off the 2013 season, January 26 at the Heartland Event Center in Grand Island.
During the bout, we also sold tickets for a split-the-pot raffle to raise a total of $770, with half of the money going to a lucky audience member, and the other half benefiting the Grand Island Crisis Center.
Making their bout debuts were new skaters Mizzerela, Little Miss Mayhem, Irish Assassin, and Psycho-Metric, and a special shout-out goes to Ivanna Shooter who injured some ribs in the 2nd half, but is otherwise recovering nicely.
Team MVP’s of the night were Gail GonnaNailYa, and Lil Bit. Congrats to both ladies for a bout well played!
