Bout Recap: Victorious over Hellcats, Vixens start season with a win

Saturday’s sold out game ended with a victory for the Vixens who rolled the Heartland Hellcats 158 to 62. Making her debut, new skater Shawshank took home the MVP Jammer award, with MVP Blocker deservedly going to Jawbreaker Hollipop. The MVP jammer and blocker from the Hellcats went to Intensive Scare and Hipcheck Holly respectively.

Featuring the first “Feed the Fox” half-time game fundraiser for the season, we’ve thus far raised $128 for the Central Nebraska Humane Society, with 4 other lucky winners splitting the other half after landing a chicken on the fox target. One other lucky winner took home a free t-shirt.
